Helping others in their professional development has always been exciting to me. I first realized this when I was working as an office manager for a retail company and was assisting my employees' in their career goals. I then made a career transition to the public sector where I focused on accountability and was able to create and facilitate training programs. Eventually, I got to put this all together when I became a career counselor for active duty service members and their families. This position allowed me to grow as a mentor while leading workshops about resume writing, career transitions, LinkedIn, interview skills, and more.
